Lafarge Wasteline provides you with the opportunity to make a real difference by offering our uniquely flexible waste removal and recycling solution. At the same time generating additional revenue for your business.

From skips in a range of sizes, through bags and bins, to the wait and load solution, the offer can be tailor made to suit the needs of any customer who uses Lafarge Plasterboard.

Lafarge Wasteline supports its customers by providing advice and best waste management solutions that are tailor made for each project.

Working together we can help contractors calculate their plasterboard waste right at the beginning of the project, allowing them to factor this into the tendering process.

Giving our customers choice and always offering a solution is key to the strategy and with the introduction of the new web based Solution Selectorthe customer can take control and decide what solution best suits their needs; with the choice of using three different site waste collection options:

  • Bag Offer
  • Skip (8, 12, 16, 20 or 40 yard)
  • Wait and load (8, 12 or 16 yard)

Because we understand every construction site is unique a dedicated telephone service, Wasteline: 01275 377579 , is also at hand should you need advice or guidance.

The way we have structured the service recognises the fact that it is not just the largest developers and contractors that wish to build in a sustainable way.  As well as meeting the needs of the big schemes we wanted to make it possible even for our smallest customers to dispose of waste plasterboard in an environmentally friendly way by offering cost-effective solutions.  We believe the flexibility we are offering is currently unique in the industry.

Lafarge Plasterboard waste collection services simply require the contractor to segregate board off-cuts in the bag or skip provided, or load it onto manned collection vehicles (wait and load).

The cost is calculated to reflect collection schedules and volumes.

Wherever practical waste material collected from site will be recycled or re-used either in the production of new plasterboard or in one of the established alternative applications for gypsum.

Dealing with board off-cuts in this way is not only environmentally friendly but will also become increasingly attractive from a financial viewpoint as the costs associated with removing gypsum waste to landfill continue to rise.

Lafarge Plasterboard is licensed for the waste reprocessing of gypsum and is ISO 14001 2004: (environmental) certified.
